999 CAST MEETING (TNDG DAY 2)

[Lotus wakes up in the sci-fi set along with some of the others. She goes off on her own to get dressed in a Star Trek teal jumpsuit. She comes back with two cinnamon rolls. She sits on her bed and claps her hands. The bracelets on her arms jangle and should get a decent amount of attention.]

So. We should all talk as a group, I guess.

[She proceeds to begin eating the cinnamon rolls. Both are apparently for herself.]

I definitely wanna find out her whole situation. All the members of her family have votes, but they could be doing something more complicated than a circle among themselves and need help.

I agree. She's my wingmom, she better survive.

I'm honestly not sure she won't abstain or rebel or something. We need to make sure that the gamemakers don't take her out.

Yeah, I was worried about that. [ Santa rolls around on his bed a little. HE'S UNCOMFORTABLE WITH FEELINGS. ] She's real determined not to play along because there's a 'better way'.

I mean, maybe there is. After the Q door opened I'm not sure miracles don't exist.

Yeah, that was totally a miracle, not proper planning. You keep thinking that.

[ Eyeroll. ]

Okay, fair and thank you for not stranding me specifically but still. Maybe they have "planning" that we don't know about.

I guess that's a good point. Huh.

I didn't wanna ask you this before but if you're comfortable bringing it up yourself, do you have any hunch what their deal might be here? I don't see a lot of opportunities for "epiphany" even if there's an "emergency".

Which deal? There's so many fucking deals going on I can't even count.

Was our nonary game sponsored by the King? Is that what he actually does?

Sure, it was sponsored by the King. Not only that, but he and I went super hard with the dickings in the alley out back every time you turned around.

Never heard of this fast food game shit before, but I'm sure as hell not surprised by it. Reality shows are upping the stakes all the time.

So there are just people out there who get off to watching us die.

[Stares despairingly directly into a camera

Huh, I guess you have a point. It could be fake. Doesn't change things much if the death is real.

Nobody said it was fake. Just said it wasn't being broadcasted.

What is the point of not broadcasting it and acting like they are, though...?

You think we're more likely to do crazy things that amuse then if we don't think millions of people are watching? I'm listening, though.

That's the point of it, though, we're supposed to think millions are watching. But they're not broadcasting it because who the fuck would let this actually go on?

Well, I have a hard time believing that this isn't at least sort of legal in this country. They have so much stuff, and they got us from a lot of different places. [not confrontational, genuinely just curious] Do you think such a big group of people could get smuggled into such a well equipped building with nobody noticing?

[jinglebros]

If you do it over a period of time, sure. Nobody knows how long they knocked us out for.

But at that point wouldn't we be, like... hungry? If we were out a really long time?

There's ways to prevent that. Appetite suppression medication, for one.

...they did this to us so we would overcompensate afterwards and eat their fast food!
