I never knew him very well. I never really had a chance. I know he was a good man though, and a true hero, because there isn't anyone else who could or would have done everything that... everything he did for all of us. Four of us would have died without him, or maybe all of us, because he was the one who got us back to land. Someone else might not have done so much, anyone else might not have, and... I'll owe him a debt forever, in any worlds I might find myself in.

[Shrieking, Lotus leaps to her feet, hands curled into fists.]
He went out on a limb trying to be helpful, and this is what he gets? There's no god in this world! Instead there are different laws of physics where humanity can make a machine strong enough to kill whatever type of monster he was! He never accepted the rules in any one of these stupid murder games! He scooped out all those kids... including some of you guys and my daughter... with his own two enormous hands - he wouldn't even leave me behind when any logic would say I was holding you back! He's so stupid! How are we supposed to replace him? I can't act anything like him, I know how to diet too well!
This is the part where he belly laughs, all, don't put yourself down, that's not the bitch who gets stuff done I know and love. [The deepening of her voice there is less an effective impression of his pitch and more the worsening effect of tears caught in her throat.] I wish I could slap him! I'm never going to slap him again! I never got to say goodbye... or... [the womanly fragility of her voice cracks through here] "thank you"...
[The tears that have been streaming out of her eyes finally drip onto the floor.] It's too late! I owe him now! I will literally be damned! I am going to hell and taking these fucking fast food mascots with me!
