999 CAST MEETING 2 (TNDG DAY 4)

Her head free of braids and ornaments, her make-up washed off, her bangles removed, all she has left are waves of black hair and her black widow suit. The contrast creates an impression of dishevelment and recent crying even though she is clean and clear eyed by any empirical assessment.

She sits on her bed and claps once.]

She's got to be, since she told me straight she was voting for me, and I trust her. [ He's firm about this. ] I don't know if anyone is voting for her. Obviously, I'll do it if nobody else is.

Great, then. Maybe we can clear it up at breakfast together tomorrow, she and I were talking about how nice it would be to hang out as a group. Eva and I thought about this too, that it could be convenient to get together all eleven of...

Now it would be all ten of us hanging out.

[LATER. The meeting concluded, and everyone got up in the morning, and Lotus actually started planning that whole potluck thing with Kyrie. So at some point, the espers or relations thereof began gathering again in service of that meeting, and Santa crossed the path of Lotus.]

You still have to cast a fourth vote... have you thought about Josefumi Kujo? [Examining her nails.] You can't vote for Ene again. Frank Reynolds is out of the question. But after that... do you really want to vote for Charlie, either? Or Aku, who's literally a giant monster? So it's down to Kujo-kun and Kira-kun, who have at least honestly cast votes for each other before and therefore probably aren't totally crazy. Kujo-kun will make you look better than Kira-kun, who has a vote. [She puts up a hand so she can look at the back of her own nails.] Not that I can actually tell you what to do. I'm just saying the options are pretty few.
