[It is the morning after the tattoo game and the ominous vote distribution. Breakfast of milkshakes and whatever else people brought is set out on a conference table in the sci-fi set. Through the doorways, from the room where these people all sleep, there is a faint smoke from the candle at the shrine for Seven, a counter with a portrait, water, and fruit.

Lotus lifts her eyebrows once everyone is there.]

[??? Well that is certainly unexpected but. Yes. It's probably easier not to kill her themselves.]

... Well what if she volunteers to not have anyone vote for her, then?

That's the idea, but too many kids like her for that to work easily.

It's everyone else who does like her that we need to convince, then. Since she's a robot, I think that could be done, if she's willing to lie a little.

What would she lie about?

What death would mean for her. What if she told everyone that she was going to download a copy of herself into the computer running this, but to do that her body needed to be destroyed? Or if there were other copies of her, so this one didn't matter too much because she'd still be alive. The first would probably make people more willing not to vote for her, though, because then she wouldn't be "gone".

I'll try floating it by her. I'm not sure if she's willing to lie to the kids, but I'll try it.

If she doesn't, it will be harder to keep people from voting for her, I think, if they already aren't going to listen if she says "please don't vote for me." She could always kill herself another way, but it would be kind of pointless if what she was trying to do was keep someone else from being killed for no votes.

I suggested that and she said fuck no, because "what if her vote didn't count".

Yes. I think one of the problems with that is we don't know if they'll always do what they did last time, and keep the same number of votes and redistribute them. We hardly have any rules about how this game is played - we still don't really know if people are really killed or not, or if they're just saying that so things will be more dramatic for whatever television show we're supposed to be on.

Maybe Gallagher really just had a heart attack or something. I'm not a coroner, I didn't want to get close.
