Through the doorways, from the room where these people all sleep, there is a faint smoke from the candle at the shrine for Seven, a counter with a portrait, water, and fruit.

[ After awhile, Santa wanders off to look at the shrine. He's quiet back there with a stiff back, and he stays there for a long time before coming back. When he does, his face is blank in such a way that anyone who knows him well would know isn't great. ]

So. Ene wants our help dying.

... Well what if she volunteers to not have anyone vote for her, then?

That's the idea, but too many kids like her for that to work easily.

It's everyone else who does like her that we need to convince, then. Since she's a robot, I think that could be done, if she's willing to lie a little.

What would she lie about?

What death would mean for her. What if she told everyone that she was going to download a copy of herself into the computer running this, but to do that her body needed to be destroyed? Or if there were other copies of her, so this one didn't matter too much because she'd still be alive. The first would probably make people more willing not to vote for her, though, because then she wouldn't be "gone".

I don't like it... She may very well mean it and be confiding in you for help, but I think you need to ask her to tell Zelda, if she can't announce it to everyone. At the least she should write "please don't vote for me" next to her name on the list. You don't need to get involved and risk yourself.

She just made a vote-exchange deal with me, which I doubt she would have done if she didn't intend to survive. She also already has voting plans for next time, which applies in much the same way.

Agreed. He's been doing quite well, and she likely sees him as a threat.

If that is the case that makes her, with the possible exception of Frank, the first one here to be openly plotting against someone else, and that makes her the threat.
