In the event that the upcoming deadline allots fewer votes than the number of living participants present, and some person(s) casts a vote for Frank Reynolds, we the undersigned do solemnly swear to henceforth not vote for said person(s).

[Now she puts it in the middle of the table where everyone can pass it around.]

If you all think this is a good idea, then we can all sign this, and that will be a good start on getting many of the others to sign it.

Isn't that going a little too far? It seems like something like that will only make enemies.

I think the basis of it is a good idea, but June has a good point. We don't want to look too aggressive, and some people might take that the wrong way. The only ones who might possibly vote for him at this point would be the other Americans. Most of which don't seem to actually care about him. I doubt they would waste their singular votes on him, when they could use those to trade and keep themselves safe. They were quick to denounce him after all.

But even so, we can't account for stupidity. Posting something like that could be a good idea. The only problem is signing our names to it. That might come across too aggressive, and as if the nine of us are trying to control things.

I don't like it... She may very well mean it and be confiding in you for help, but I think you need to ask her to tell Zelda, if she can't announce it to everyone. At the least she should write "please don't vote for me" next to her name on the list. You don't need to get involved and risk yourself.

This petition asks all members of the community not to vote for Frank Reynolds so long as the number of available ballots are not equal to or exceeding the number of current participants.

If anyone should, the rest of us, as a community devoted to working together, may see fit to liken this to harboring a fugitive and therefore a punishable action in later voting rounds.

"Should do so" might be a little clearer. Other than that I think the words are really clear, it's good. The part where you added "in later voting rounds" to "a punishable action", that's especially good. Keeping the actual action vague is good because there could be some really hard to foresee voting patterns where never voting for the "harborer" again is too harsh.

"Equal to or exceeding" does show our hands with the hope that a hotelling happens too... do you think that's okay? Well, it will be anonymous.

Sorry, but I'm not signing this bullshit. You all can do what you want, but I don't think this is even close to the best idea in the fucking world.

If everyone does want to post this or something like it still but wants to make very sure it's not easily associatable with the largest alliance that's currently here, then the wording can be edited to make it seem like a smaller group, or even one person said it. Just take out 'the rest of us as a community devoted to working together' and replace it with 'the community'. It makes the numbers of people who are complicit in posting it vaguer.

If everyone doesn't want to do it, though, that's also fine. I don't think it's really necessary.
